Each year, an 'Italian Capital of Culture' is selected for its distinctive cultural and urban heritage. For the year 2024, the honor goes to the city of Pesaro. Under the theme “La natura della cultura” (“The Nature of Culture”), Pesaro delves into the synergy between art, nature, and technology by fostering collaborative efforts to reimagine urban and rural spaces and rejuvenate cultural heritage in situ. The extensive program is organized into five themes, encompassing 45 projects that involve 50 municipalities, two regional parks, and one protected area.

We developed the visual identity for this multifaceted event. For continuous printed and digital text, we opted for Giulio Galli’s Capraia, a serif typeface paired with Aeonik.

The main illustrations are designed by Cristina Spanò.
