Il Teatro Grande is a photographic book featuring images by Paola Pansini, published by Silvana Editoriale and edited by Massimo Torrigiani and Selva Barni. The project aims to introduce the public to the theatre from an unusual, unprecedented and intimate point of view. For the volume, we opted for an exposed spine binding that would rhythmically highlight the phases of the narration through the insertion of green paper at the beginning and end of each signature. The jacket is shorter than the height of the cover, leaving the lower part of the book uncovered, recalling the idea of a curtain call that allows a glimpse of part of the stage and backstage.
