For the 2026 edition of MagToMag, Frab’s festival of independent magazines at BASE Milano, we designed an identity built around the year’s theme: ERRORE (Error). The festival’s M multiplies into many variations, made of halftones, overlaps and misregistrations, like a print run gone wrong. The printed pieces were risograph-printed by Press Press Milano: fluorescent pink and blue layer on top of each other, and every slight shift between the passes becomes part of the error. The system extends to posters, the programme, totems, banners, digital screens, badges, t-shirts and tote bags, guiding visitors through exhibitions, workshops, talks and the market.
