Working on nottetempo new graphics we aimed to find an identifying element that would become the signature and emphasise the characteristics of each series. At the same time, we wanted all the series to have a common feature that would make them immediately recognisable as belonging to nottetempo. From this need arose the decision to arrange the cover typography vertically, rotating it 90 degrees anticlockwise.

ESSAYS
The titling of the essays is able to make the most of the surface of the cover, emphasising the impact of the iconic original graphic layout. In the "Figure" and "Terra" series, the typography of the cover dialogues with the text in the back and on the flaps, inviting the reader to unfold the cover as if it was a poster.

NOVELS
In the novels the typography is reduced, anchored in the upper left-hand corner of the cover. Underneath is a colour gradient, the distinctive feature of the series, which dissolves from the spine into the cover image.

CHRONICLES
The chronicles layout features a white label, always placed on the left side of the front cover, where title an author seat. This element depicts the idea of archived content recalling stock folders.
